Andrew B. Abramson, President and CEO

Andrew Abramson, President and CEO of the Clifton, N.J.-based Value Companies, Inc., is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s operations throughout its development, investment and management divisions. This includes the appointment and retention of division managers and controllers who direct the day-to-day operations of the developer’s regional territories. Mr. Abramson also supervises and develops annual business plans for each of Value’s residential offerings.

Prior to his 40+ year tenure with Value Companies, Mr. Abramson was a Construction Manager with the Namil Corporation in Delray Beach, Florida and an Assistant Construction Supervisor with the Hedy Heights Construction Company also located in Clifton, N.J. Mr. Abramson is a licensed real estate broker in the States of New Jersey and New York and a certified building contractor in the State of Florida. He is a member of several prominent professional organizations including, Institute of Real Estate Marketing (MIRM), New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA), and the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA).  Mr. Abramson is a member of the Board of Directors of Valley National Bancorp, a NASDAQ listed company and the 26th largest Bank in the US.  He currently serves on the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and previously as Lead Director, Chair of the Risk Committee and Chair of the Audit Committee.

Additionally, Mr. Abramson is the co-founder and treasurer of the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., (CBCF), a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

Mr. Abramson holds a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University.


Matthew Mirman, Executive Vice President

Matthew Mirman currently serves as Executive Vice President of Value Companies.  Mr. Mirman recently joined Value Companies, having spent the past 15 years working across multiple companies within the Ad Tech sector.  Mr. Mirman is responsible for business development and strategic planning.

Most recently Mr. Mirman served as Senior Vice President of OddsChecker Global Media, spearheading the international iGaming affiliates’ entry into the US market.  Mr. Mirman was a key part of the Management team which helped to successfully sell the business from Flutter Entertainment to Private Equity firm, Bruin Capital.

Mr. Mirman is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving cross-functional teams to exceed organizational goals. Over the course of his career, he has helped develop and lead go-to-market strategies for numerous early-stage start-ups, as well as delivered upon short and long term financial objectives for management and investors alike.

Mr. Mirman holds a BA in Communications from the State University of Buffalo and currently sits on the junior board of trustees for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. 


Michael Hashimoto, CPA / Vice President of Accounting

Michael Hashimoto joined Value Companies, Inc. in May 2006 from Sax, LLP having served in the role as Senior Accounting Manager specializing in the real estate niche. His knowledge and insight into the financial and tax aspects of the organization made the transition from public accounting to private enterprise seamless. His current responsibilities include financial oversight of Value’s properties under management, enhancement, and ongoing monitoring of internal controls, and has had vast experience with management transition and onboarding of legacy accounting systems into our real estate specialized, all in one Yardi accounting package.

Mr. Hashimoto earned his Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting from Hofstra University.


Jack Linefsky, CAM, CAPS, Vice President of Property Management

A seasoned real estate executive with more than 35 years of industry experience, Jack Linefsky has directed the residential management operations since 2006.  Mr. Linefsky is charged with overseeing all aspects of operations for the company’s portfolio of more than 3,300 apartments in 16 communities throughout New Jersey and New York. Prior to joining Value Companies, Mr. Linefsky served as Regional Property Manager for Home Properties where he was instrumental in the renovation, repositioning, and management of numerous apartment communities. 
Mr. Linefsky served as President of the New Jersey Apartment Association from 2020 to 2022 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. He earned the Certified Apartment Manager and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor designations from The National Apartment Association and is a licensed Broker/Salesperson in New Jersey and New York. 
Mr. Linefsky holds a Bachelors of Science in Business/Economics from The State University of New York at Oneonta.


Yris Lindsay, CAM, CALP, Director of Business Management

A 27-year member of the Value Companies, Inc. team, the responsibilities of Yris Lindsay cover a wide gamut of the firm’s operations.

Ms. Lindsay works closely as administrator for the Construction department – provides support with construction budgets; assists with research, evaluation and approval of materials for construction; schedules contractors, township inspectors and utility companies during construction; performs onsite inspections of new construction. In addition, she is the regional property manager responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of 2 communities totaling 458 units in Orange County, NY.  Ms. Lindsay is also responsible for providing assistance to the President with day-to-day operations and general office management in addition to being an integral part of the management operations of the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation.


Mark Deuer, Construction Manager and Security Director

Mark Deuer joined Value Companies in August of 2023 and currently serves as Construction Manager and Director of Security of Value Companies.  Mark leads the team responsible for all new development projects as well as the overall security of the employees and the residents we are so honored to have living with us.

Prior to retiring, his most recent 13-years of his 30-year tenure in law enforcement was served as Chief of The North Caldwell Police.  Mark responded to and helped in rescue efforts at both the 9/11 World Trade Center Attack and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Mark’s experience in management and budgeting brings new ideas and concepts to his role in construction. His training and expertise in law enforcement will allow us to continue to make our properties a safe and wonderful place to live and raise a family.

Cure Breast Cancer Foundation

Since its inception in December 2007, CBCF has raised an excess of $7 Million through events such as the annual Golf Classic, walk-a-thons, fashion shows and other fundraising activities. CBCF donates 90% of its net fundraising proceeds to support the research of Dr. Larry Norton and colleagues at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center on the growth and spreading of breast cancer cells, also known as the Self-Seeding Theory.
